hey y'all!

today's post is going to be a small collection of photos i took of macey a few days agoduring one of the prettiest days so far htis year. 

to edit them, i tried out a new filter on VSCO cam and it makes them look really moody and im not quite sure if i like it or not? anywhoo, along with the blog post.

i was trying so hard to have her pick flowers and do cutesy girly poses in front of our fence but then i realized that's no fun for a toddler ! but i managed to snap a few shots along the way :-)

i really liked this one. our neighbors porch makes for a great backdrop ;-)

and finally we played with our shadows before the sun went down.

monthly inspiration / 1

whale hiya !

So ive decided to start posting "monthly inspiration" which is basically going to be a collection of images/quotes/music/ things that inspire me that ive found over the past month. so this is going to be the first of the collection. you can find all of these images on tumblr.

This past month i have had an incredible feeling of wanderlust and looking at all these photos take me somewhere else and temporarily relieve my incredible urge to explore. ive also been itching to make some form of art so, i bought myself some watercolor paints and ive had so much fun expirementing with them. you can bet some of my paintings will be showing up in future posts ;-). well, i hope these images have inspired you as much as they have inspired me and may your February be full of fun and blessings.

lately...

"lately" has been pretty hectic. with finals, end of semester coming up, and soccer season beginning, its been chaos. so, as my way of escaping all of the craziness, and also my way of avoiding studying, i am writing this blog post.

+ one directions album "Four" (im going to their concert in the summer! *squeal*)

+ quite a lot of vance joy 

+ "F U" by miley cyrus has been my jam recently. its so sassy!

thinking about:

+ ideas for new art

+ new books to read (i havent read a full book since the summer, yikes.)

+ whether or not to splurge on a floppy hat (the boho chic vibe they give off is to die for.)

+ ways to ask my boy to TOLO *excitement*

loving:

+ watercolors. i just bought myself a set of water colors and i looove them :-)

+ the combo of bright gem tones and graphic black and white patterns

+ bloglovin. ive discovered so many new blog that i love and inspire me!

doing:

+ studying for finals (kms)

+ endlessly researching ways to improve this blog

+ lots and lots of soccer which i love :-)

Heya !

So yesterday macey and i had an impromptu photoshoot and let me tell you, i dont think ive ever gotten such great pictures before! she was so cooperative and flashed her cute lil smile... ugh it was perfect.

i mean come on, isnt her smile contagious?

shes just so cute it kills me.

im so grateful for this bundle of joy :-)

Hey Y'all !

sorry its been so long. i may or may not have gotten caught up in all the fun of the holidays hehe :-) anyway, this post is going to be centered around a lil photo shoot my friend, B, and i had not to long ago. 

we showcased our super comfy cardigans,

our super cute smiles *insert smiling cat emoji*

and even flashed our shoes in a classic foot shot (always a tradition)

but since it was the middle of december in the PNW, of course it was freezing so we wimped out and ran inside ending our ever so short photo sesh. please stay tuned for another ootd showcase soon !
